Job summary

DCOMM is seeking skilled Fiber Splicers in El Paso, TX. You will splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables, perform OTDR testing, and read splice diagrams to ensure high-performance connectivity on active projects.

Candidates should have experience in splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and blueprints interpretation, plus a valid driver’s license. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and on-site professionalism in a growing network build-out.

Qualifications

• Experience with fiber optic splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of OTDR testing, bonding/grounding, and fiber documentation.
• Ability to read and follow engineering blueprints.
• Physical ability to bend, climb, lift (up to 80 lbs), and work in tight spaces.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities
