The position involves 75% travel and a base location in Henderson, KY. Ideal candidates have at least two years of fiber splicing experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a DOT medical exam.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• At least two years of fiber splicing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Upgrade existing fiber sheaths with new fiber sheaths.
• Provide guidance to other splicers as needed.
• Document work performed through daily production reports.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles.
