Motive Infrastructure Solutions in Corona, CA is seeking a Fiber Splicer to install and maintain fiber optic cables on underground and aerial routes. You will perform fusion splices, test continuity, and review maps and blueprints to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years on-the-job experience.
• Ability to read, review, interpret and understand technical documents and blueprints.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Fusion splices SM ribbon and loose tube fiber optic cables and terminates connectors.
• Lead crews when required and supervise other employees.
• Install and test closures on all cable types and sizes.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
• Review maps, drawings, blueprints and testing documents.
• Perform daily testing and maintenance of splicing equipment.
• Conduct optical continuity and conformance testing.
• Make splicing rearrangements for underground, aerial, and building locations.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
