Job summary

Qualifications

• Able to climb and work at elevations and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Fusion splices SM ribbon and loose tube fiber optic cables and connectors.
• Supervise crews as needed and lead tasks.
• Install and test closures on cable types and sizes.
• Troubleshoot basic technical problems and interpret maps/drawings.
• Test splicing equipment and conduct optical continuity testing.
• Perform splicing rearrangements in various work locations.
