Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Fiber Splicer or Telecommunications Technician.
• Experience with fiber optic cable and telecom infrastructure.
• Ability to read fiber diagrams and splice plans.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and in field teams.
• Outdoor and field environment work ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform fiber optic splicing and fusion splicing.
• Prepare, organize, route, and splice fiber optic cable.
• Work with splice closures, trays, enclosures, and related components.
• Follow fiber diagrams, splice plans, work orders, and docs.
• Support fiber optic construction and Outside Plant activities.
• Perform fiber testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks.
• Identify and resolve fiber-related issues in the field.
• Maintain splice records and project documentation.
• Follow project specs, safety procedures, and industry standards.
• Work with field crews and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

A leading telecommunications contractor is looking for experienced Fiber Splicers and Fiber Optic Technicians to join an active fiber optic project in Indiana.We are looking for skilled, hands-on professionals with experience in fiber optic splicing, fusion splicing, fiber installation, and telecommunications construction.The project is already underway, and qualified candidates who are available to start immediately or on short notice are encouraged to apply.Candidates willing to relocate to Indiana are welcome to apply.Compensation: $22–$32/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
