Job summary

Lambert's Cable is seeking a Fiber Splicer to join our field team in Spring Run, PA. You will perform aerial and underground splicing, test and troubleshoot post-installation circuits, and ensure work meets industry standards.

The role involves climbing and working at heights, vehicle maintenance, and accurate reporting. A valid driver's license and ability to pass a DOT medical exam are required.

Qualifications

• 6 months of splicing experience or 1 year in telecom (as stated).
• Valid state driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a medical card.

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Safely navigate working at heights, from underground to in the air.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks.
• Document work via daily production reports and map updates.
