You will support structure–function characterization of native and modified fiber ingredients, benchmark against commercial fibers, and explore processing approaches for food applications.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with working in a chemistry or biochemistry lab and lab safety
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate in a relevant field with lab research
• Experience with experimental design, quantitative data analysis and structure–function interpretation
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature searches and summarize outcomes for project
• Perform laboratory experiments and analyze data to support recommendations
• Coordinate, summarize and report data from experiments
• Record data in ELN and other databases; communicate results to teams
• Present research findings with recommendations for future projects
