Job summary

Prysmian is seeking Production Line Operators for the Claremont Fiber Team. You will work on 12-hour day or night shifts, with a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend off.

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow precise safety and quality instructions. Starting pay is $20.50/hour with night shift differential and progression; opportunities for merit planning and 401(k) matching are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate production lines handling hot/sharp glass and equipment.
• Follow work instructions to meet production and quality standards.
• Stooping, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed for production.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and comply with safety requirements.

Overview:

Prysmian is growing and expanding- Claremont Fiber, will be interviewing for Production Line Operators. From optical and copper cables and optical fiber to connectivity components and accessories, we're helping to link communities, continents, and countries faster and more efficiently than ever.

Hiring for day or night crew positions (depends on business needs): 12-hour Night Shift: 6:45pm - 7:00am 12-hour Day Shift: 6:45am - 7:00pm Rotating schedule with every other weekend off on a 2-2-3 shift

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience, preferred
• Some manufacturing experience, preferred
• Must be able to successfully complete the background check and pre-employment drug testing

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to safely work around hot glass, sharp glass, and equipment
• Ability to safely follow all work instructions to meet all required production and quality standards of work.
• Ability to stoop, bend at the waist, stand, and sit as needed to reach product while working (up to 12 hours)
• Ability to have full range of motion in shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers for manipulation of product and work equipment
• Ability to safely life 50 lbs. on your own
• Must be compliance to all safety, PPE, and regulatory requirements deemed necessary by position
• Walk up and down stairs repeatedly
• Stand on concrete for 12 hours or more
• Able to work mandatory OT when required
• Reliable attendance
