Job summary

TekCom Resources, Inc. is seeking field-based Construction Supervisors/Coordinators for Janesville, WI and Oshkosh, WI.

The role oversees Outside Plant fiber projects, supervises crews, ensures quality, and coordinates from pre-project prep through wrap-up with daily site visits within 1–2 hours of the market. On-site 5 days a week, you will track crew performance, safety compliance, scheduling, invoicing support, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of fiber construction experience; fiber splicing experience preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of OSP construction experience required.
• Experience managing project tracking, financials, and internal/contracted crews.
• Strong communication skills for client and management updates.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control on completed work and ensure crew compliance with company standards
• Experience with fusion splicing
• Support adherence to project schedules; relay updates to management and clients
• Track administrative functions: contractor invoicing, equipment/supply availability, progress documentation
• Enforce internal and external safety protocols on job sites
• Coordinate across teams and departments to see projects through to completion
