Job summary

Wolf Line Construction is seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support fiber optic and utility infrastructure projects from design through closeout. You will review designs, perform engineering analyses, and ensure deliverables meet client requirements and industry standards.

The role requires strong documentation, reporting, and coordination across multiple sites nationwide, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience in fiber optic, telecom, or utility construction environments.
  • Ability to interpret OSP/ISP drawings, utility plans, and engineering specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support multiple fiber and utility projects through engineering design coordination and quality review.
  • Analyze construction drawings, fiber network designs, and technical specifications for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with project reporting, tracking quality metrics, schedules, and deliverable status.
  • Develop labor, equipment, and resource forecasts to support project planning and execution.
  • Perform material take-offs (MTO) for fiber optic cable, conduit, handholes, and related materials.
  • Coordinate procurement of project materials and support vendor and purchasing activities.
  • Prepare and maintain final project documentation, including closeout and turnover packages.
  • Produce and deliver final as-built drawings reflecting completed installations.
