Candidates must work independently, adhere to IDOT safety standards, and have a valid Illinois driver’s license with a safe driving history. Travel may be required; safety is paramount.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Illinois driver’s license.
• Must have a safe driving record.
• Must have prior utility locating experience.
• Must be able to travel.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to follow IDOT safety standards when working in the ROW.

Responsibilities

• Locate outside plant fiber and coax facilities.
• Locate underground and above-ground assets and identify specified attribute information.
• Work independently with a strong focus on safety.
