Job summary

HM Staffing Solutions LLC is seeking experienced Telecom Technicians to join our growing team in the United States. You will install, test, and maintain fiber optic and copper cabling, read blueprints, and troubleshoot network equipment to meet customer specifications.

Applicants should have fiber optics and Cat5e/Cat6 experience, be able to read technical drawings, and have OSHA 10 certification. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are preferred; bilingual candidates

Qualifications

• Experience with installing, testing, and maintaining fiber optic and copper cabling.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with cable testing equipment and termination standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• OSHA 10 certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate and test fiber optic and copper cabling
• Pull, route and secure telecommunications cables
• Install and troubleshoot network voice and data equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and project specs
• Perform cable testing, labeling and documentation
• Ensure work meets customer specs and industry standards
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
• Maintain tools, equipment and a clean work area
