Job summary

GCS Recruitment seeks a Network Technician / Fiber Engineer to support and maintain fiber optic and telecommunications network infrastructure across transport and IP networks. This is a hands-on role based in New Jersey.

The position involves troubleshooting, testing, installation, provisioning, and maintenance with a focus on fiber optics, Ethernet/Sonet/IP networking, and system restoration. Prior field experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with fiber optic networks and related equipment.
• Familiarity with OTDR testing and fiber characterization.
• Strong troubleshooting and field installation capabilities.

Responsibilities
