Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fiber optic splicing and network maintenance.
• Fiber splicing certification required.
• Experience with fusion splicers, OTDRs, and power meters.

Responsibilities

• Splice and terminate fiber optic cables per standards and specifications.
• Perform fiber optic testing using fusion splicers, OTDRs, and power meters.
• Troubleshoot fiber network issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain splice documentation and as-built drawings.
• Comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain and care for tools and equipment.
• Support team members and project leadership.
• Participate in on-call rotations for maintenance and repair.
