Job summary

MasTec Advanced Technologies is seeking a Fiber Installation Technician to install, repair, and troubleshoot fiber optic and coax systems. You will perform field work with attention to safety policies and customer service, ensuring high-quality service and accurate documentation.

You will handle indoor and outdoor installations, testing, and maintenance while collaborating with teams to support network expansion and service continuity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous fiber optic installation experience preferred.
• Able to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, splice, and terminate fiber-optic cables in indoor and outdoor settings.
• Perform testing and QA to verify performance and identify issues.
• Maintain records and reports on installations and equipment used.
• Provide professional customer support and explain service options.
