Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Installs, troubleshoots, services, and repairs telecommunications equipment and fiber optic cable.
• Tests circuits and components to isolate malfunctions using hand tools and test equipment.
• Drives crew trucks to and from work areas and inspects equipment regularly.
• Repairs or replaces faulty equipment and adjusts layouts per work orders.
• Explains equipment usage to customers and responds to inquiries or complaints.
• Analyzes test readings and reports to determine repair methods.
• Work outdoors in all weather, including climbing to elevated positions.
