Job summary

Zero dB Communications LLC is seeking an OSP field technician in Spokane, WA. The role performs itinerant fiber work including anchors, strand placement, cable lashing, and riser construction, ensuring alignment with engineering specs and OSP standards.

You will handle field documentation, support project timelines, and deliver high-quality splicing and testing. Travel up to 80% across metro, commercial, and rural sites is required; reports to the Spokane office.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of fiber optic field experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform itinerant fiber work including anchors, strand placement, cable lashing, and riser construction.
• Ensure field work aligns with engineering specs and OSP standards; maintain and repair aerial/underground fiber networks.
• Complete accurate field documentation and support project timelines; deliver high-quality splicing and testing.
• Operate equipment such as mini excavators, backhoes, skid steers, cable plows, and drop plows.
• Travel up to 80% across metro, commercial, and rural sites; report to Spokane, WA office.
