Job summary

rallynet is seeking a fiber optic installation technician to support projects across Missouri. You will place and maintain cable in underground conduit, install aerial cable, and service pedestals, poles, and subscriber sites while traveling to job sites.

Experience operating heavy equipment is required, with CDL and utility construction experience preferred. Typical schedule involves 10-hour days with travel and weekend time off where possible.

• CDL is desired.
• Utility construction experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Places and maintains cable within underground conduit system.
• Maintains right-of-ways, including patching roadways and backfill areas.
• Installs and removes aerial cable.
• Installs and maintains pedestals, poles, carrier sites and equipment at subscriber locations.
• Operates and maintains digging and trenching equipment.

Job description

Various work locations throughout Missouri installing fiber optic infrastructure. (4) 10 hour days and then home on the weekends most weeks.
