Job summary

Prysmian Lexington is seeking Production Operators to join our fiber optic and cable manufacturing teams. You will review designs, pull materials, set up processes per SOP, and monitor quality while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Basic computer utilization skills.
• Must complete on-the-job and peer training and pass a certification test.
• Ability to learn and comprehend written daily operation instructions and handle hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Review design details; pull orders and raw materials for production.
• Set up processes per SOP; load/unload fiber bobbins and spools.
• Perform break-down and cleaning of components using approved chemicals with PPE.
• Document daily production reports and maintain quality checks.
• Operate equipment safely and monitor unitize processes to avoid rework or scrap.
