Job summary

Bluebird Fiber in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Network Development Analyst with 3–5 years of telecom experience to support planning, optimization, and expansion of our fiber network. This hybrid role requires collaborating with teams across regions, with travel limited to about 15%.

You will manage IRU and DF lease renewals, develop cost-effective network paths, and work with clients and vendors to design scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in fiber or telecom industry.
• Understand fiber pricing structures (O&M, colo).
• Familiar with telecom networks and fiber infrastructure.
• Experience reading and negotiating fiber contracts (IRU/DF).
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Analyze IRU and DF lease renewals and track expirations.
• Plan and optimize network paths for expansion.
• Evaluate fiber pricing for O&M, colo, and related costs.
• Read and interpret fiber contracts.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and presentations for technical/non-technical audiences.
