Job summary

Segra is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for Blacksburg/Christiansburg/Roanoke, VA. This full-time role requires 5 days in the office and leads the network delivery team across circuit delivery to new customers.

You will coordinate with Sales, OSP, and PMO, ensure standardized processes, and build relationships to support new markets, while interfacing with jurisdictions and utilities for permits and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Five years of technical experience in Engineering, Construction, or Operations.
• Knowledge of utility construction in aerial, underground, or fiber splicing environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the network delivery team and collaborate with Sales, OSP, and PMO groups.
• Maintain standardized processes and procedures across circuit delivery to new customers.
• Build relationships and infrastructure to support new markets.
• Interface with local jurisdictions, utilities, and regulatory bodies for permits, pole attachments, and regulatory compliance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for reporting on multiple programs within assigned areas.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
