Job summary

Segra is seeking a Construction Manager in Blacksburg/Christiansburg/Roanoke, VA to lead the network delivery team and ensure safe, timely, and accurate circuit delivery for new customers.

The role requires coordinating with Sales, OSP, and PMO groups, maintaining standardized processes, and building relationships to support new markets. In-office presence is required five days a week.

Qualifications

• Five years of technical experience in Engineering, Construction, or Operations.
• Knowledge of utility construction in aerial, underground, or fiber splicing environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the network delivery team and collaborate with Sales, OSP, and PMO groups.
• Maintain standardized processes and procedures across circuit delivery to new customers.
• Build relationships and infrastructure to support new markets.
• Interface with local jurisdictions, utilities, and regulatory bodies for permits, pole attachments, and regulatory compliance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for reporting on multiple programs within assigned areas.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
