Job summary

Fiber Network Services is seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator to join our Culloden, WV team. The role involves overseeing HFC/broadband projects including BAU, spans, relocations, node splits, and new builds, with focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include walkouts, BOM creation, NTP packaging, tracking lifecycles, invoicing, and reporting to management. Requires 2+ years in HFC/construction, strong leadership, and ability to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in HFC or similar outside network plant construction
• Strong leadership skills to mentor and influence subcontractors and vendors
• Customer service acumen to interpret, communicate, and deliver client needs
• Impressive ability to organize and prioritize projects
• Proficient with Microsoft tools to create, manage, and present data and reporting
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening and background check
• Willingness to work overtime occasionally to meet project demands
• Ability to pass a DOT physical

Responsibilities

• Perform walkouts pre/post-construction
• Verify as-builts
• Troubleshoot build-out issues in the field
• Identify safe working conditions in outside right-of-way environments
• Identify permitting requirements as needed
• Create BOMs
• Compile NTP packages for contractors
• Scope, plan and execute HFC projects to contractors and track lifecycles
• Pay contractors and submit to final client invoicing
• Perform quality control of all project work
• Provide weekly reports to management on construction activity
• Follow up with city municipalities regarding permitting issues
