Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group, a Leidos company, seeks a CAD Technician in Texas to support the design and development of fiber network buildouts. You will create and update CAD drawings, develop route plans and planning profiles, and collaborate with project teams to meet quality and production goals.

You will work with AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Katapult, and Google Earth, gaining proficiency in project QA tools and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic CAD knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is required.
• Familiarity with Illustrator/Photoshop is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drafts Fiber network designs and maintains records of routes and assets.
• Read project specifications and requirements as needed.
• Proficient in CAD, GIS, and fiber design software as required.
• QA tools usage and error resolution as needed.
• Incorporate feedback to ensure high-quality output.
• Identify issues with source material and coordinate resolutions.
• Meet project production targets and quality expectations within 90 days and ongoing.
• Coordinate with team leads to ensure consistent design standards.
• Develop proficiency with hardware/software and training programs.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Katapult, Google Earth preferred.
