Responsibilities:
Locate and mark underground utilities, including fiber optic lines, using proper equipment
Read and interpret utility maps, prints, and locate tickets
Use electromagnetic and ground-penetrating locating tools
Communicate clearly with drill operators and crew members to prevent utility strikes
Ensure all markings comply with industry standards and color codes
Maintain accurate records and documentation of locates performed
Follow all safety procedures and regulations on job sites
