Job summary

Lumibird USA is seeking a Quality Technician to independently perform IQC and OQC inspections for fiber laser components and finished products. The role supports ISO 9001 quality management and collaborates with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.

You will review records, ensure compliance, and release products when documentation meets acceptance criteria. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with cross-functional teams are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection or manufacturing quality experience in a technical manufacturing environment.
• Experience in fiber lasers, optics, photonics, electronics, or precision manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience using microscopes and common inspection or measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform IQC inspections of optical, fiber-optic, electrical, mechanical, and purchased components.
• Perform OQC inspections of completed fiber laser products before release and shipment.
• Review production travelers, build records, test reports, deviations for completeness.
• Verify labels, serial numbers, model numbers, electrical ratings, and warnings.
• Initiate NCRs and participate in MRB activities.
• Document inspection results and maintain traceable quality records.
