Job summary

Munters Corporation in Selma, TX is seeking a Laser Press Operator for the 3rd shift to operate a fiber laser and related fabrication equipment. You will read BOMs and blueprints, set up jobs, and ensure parts meet specifications while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

You will perform quality checks, record production data, and help with additional tasks to support production schedules. Prior experience with laser cutting and metal fabrication is preferred, and adherence to PPE protocols is

Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and BOMs.
Experience with fiber laser cutting equipment preferred.
Strong measurement/inspection skills with calipers, gauges and tape.
Commitment to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate fiber laser to cut metal sheets per specifications.
Load material, position on table with vacuum system, and select appropriate lenses by thickness/type.
Verify first piece conformance and conduct in-process quality checks.
Maintain clean, safe work area and document production activities.
Assist with other operations to meet schedules and quality requirements.
