Job summary

GoNetspeed in Maine is hiring Outside Sales Representatives (Door-to-Door) to bring fast, reliable fiber internet to local neighborhoods. You’ll represent GoNetspeed, meet customers face-to-face, and build relationships in the community.

This role offers a base salary of $35,000 plus uncapped commissions, a $5,000 signing bonus upon hitting initial goals, paid training, mileage allowance, and extensive earning potential with typical earnings of $70,000 to $125,000+ annually.

Responsibilities

• Represent GoNetspeed in local neighborhoods and meet customers face to face.
• Sell fiber internet, home phone, and streaming TV plans.
• Knock on 50+ doors daily in assigned towns/cities.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable plans.
• Meet monthly sales goals and earn commission.
• Participate in community events to promote GoNetspeed.

What You’ll Do (Field-Based – Limited Office Reporting!)

You’ll represent GoNetspeed directly in local neighborhoods, helping people upgrade to fast, reliable fiber internet. Your day will include:

• Meeting customers face to face through door to door outreach
• Selling Fiber Internet, Home Phone, and Streaming TV
• Knocking on 50+ doors daily in assigned towns/cities
• Understanding customer needs and recommending the right plan
• Staying current on product offerings and competitor options
• Achieving monthly sales goals and earning big on commission
• Participating in occasional community events to promote GoNetspeed

What You Bring

Experience is helpful but not required: we fully train you. You’re a great fit if you have:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
• Comfort working outside in all weather conditions
• Reliable attendance and ability to maintain a full-time schedule
• Availability 10 AM–7 PM, 40 hours/week
• A valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle, and willingness to travel locally

Skills That Help You Stand Out

• Telecom, broadband, or tech‑related sales experience (not required)
• Organized approach to managing a sales territory
• Confident face to face communication
• Professional, ethical customer interactions
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions independently

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing/walking/stair climbing (75–100%)
• Occasional kneeling, lifting, pushing/pulling (25–49%)
• Ability to read screens/reports and communicate via phone/email (75–100%)

$70,000 - $125,000 a year

Base Salary: $35,000 plus uncapped commission
