Job summary

GoNetspeed seeks an Outside Sales Representative to represent fibers services in local neighborhoods. This field-based role involves engaging customers, presenting fiber internet options, and driving sign-ups with a focus on meeting daily outreach targets.

Roles include earning potential through uncapped commissions, a base salary, and bonuses, with paid training and opportunities for career growth. Travel and a full-time schedule are required.

Responsibilities

• Door-to-door outreach to potential customers in local neighborhoods.
• Sell fiber internet, home phone and streaming TV plans.
• Knock on 50+ doors daily in assigned towns/cities and qualify leads.
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate plans.
• Meet monthly sales goals and maximize commission earnings.

What You’ll Do (Field-Based – Limited Office Reporting!)

You’ll represent GoNetspeed directly in local neighborhoods, helping people upgrade to fast, reliable fiber internet. Your day will include:

• Meeting customers face to face through door to door outreach
• Selling Fiber Internet, Home Phone, and Streaming TV
• Knocking on 50+ doors daily in assigned towns/cities
• Understanding customer needs and recommending the right plan
• Staying current on product offerings and competitor options
• Achieving monthly sales goals and earning big on commission
• Participating in occasional community events to promote GoNetspeed

What You Bring

Experience is helpful but not required: we fully train you. You’re a great fit if you have:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
• Comfort working outside in all weather conditions
• Reliable attendance and ability to maintain a full-time schedule
• Availability 10 AM–7 PM, 40 hours/week
• A valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle, and willingness to travel locally

Skills That Help You Stand Out

• Telecom, broadband, or tech-related sales experience (not required)
• Organized approach to managing a sales territory
• Confident face to face communication
• Professional, ethical customer interactions
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions independently

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing/walking/stair climbing (75–100%)
• Occasional kneeling, lifting, pushing/pulling (25–49%)
• Ability to read screens/reports and communicate via phone/email (75–100%)
