Job Description: The Fiber I&R Technician position is based in Southern CA, with opportunities in multiple cities including Whittier, Temecula, Covina, Pomona, Palm Springs, Moreno Valley, Morongo Valley, Los Angeles, and others. This full-time role involves installing fiber optic internet services, ensuring high-quality service and customer education for residential and commercial clients.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic systems for residential and commercial customers.
2. Perform pre-installation work and post-installation verification and education.
3. Place aerial or buried fiber drops and install wiring.
4. Follow safety rules and OSHA regulations, work at heights, and in confined spaces.
5. Assist team members and maintain professional communication with customers.
6. Use internal systems for work order notation and timekeeping.
7. Maintain metrics and be flexible to relocate across regions as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with fiber optic internet and home phone services.
• Own tools, truck, van, or SUV with ladder rack, and safety equipment.
• Smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S23 or newer) and laptop with MS Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, communicate effectively, and work overtime/weekends.
• Pass background, MVR, and drug tests.

Compensation is production-based, with rates provided upon resume submission.
