Job summary

IKO North America is seeking a Fiber Forming Operator to join their production department. The ideal candidate will ensure safe and efficient handling of glass and maintain product quality. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality
• Working safely and promoting safety among colleagues
• Efficiently handling glass from bushing breakouts and choppers
• Ensuring proper forming process and troubleshooting issues
• Monitoring process variables and product quality
• Performing quality checks and inspections
• Maintaining equipment and performing other duties as assigned

Ideal candidate qualifications:

• Three or more years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in high temperature environments and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including days and nights
• Ability to work at heights and overhead for extended periods
