Required Skills & Experience
- Strong fiber construction experience, specifically FTTH/FOB
- Wireline telecommunications experience required; wireless experience does not apply
- Experience within telecommunications or utility construction/maintenance
- Experience with construction engineering
- Stable work history
- Ability to read and interpret utility maps, prints, and blueprints
- Valid driver's license
- Strong computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Authorized to work in the United States
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with installation, repair, maintenance, and locating underground utilities
- Experience inspecting telecommunications or utility construction work

What You Will Be Doing
- Inspect jobs and worksite restoration to ensure work performed by employees and subcontractors meets quality expectations, customer standards, and contract requirements
- Review utility maps and prints to identify the type and size of underground utilities
- Operate electronic detection equipment to locate and mark underground facilities within prescribed accuracy limits
- Contact subcontractors daily for job follow-up
- Coordinate activities with crews, subcontractors, Safety, and field management
- Assist with resolving customer and homeowner complaints
