Job summary

GCS Recruitment seeks an experienced Fiber Engineer to support testing, troubleshooting, and remediation across ISP and OSP fiber networks. Travel to customer sites will be required to ensure service quality and timely issue resolution.

Responsibilities include OTDR testing, fusion splicing, report preparation, and collaboration with project managers and vendors. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in fiber telecom and strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fiber telecom experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISP & OSP fiber networks.
• Hands-on OTDR testing and fiber characterization experience.
• Fusion splicing and fiber inspection skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
