Job summary

GCS Recruitment in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Fiber Engineer to support fiber network testing, troubleshooting, and remediation across ISP and OSP environments. You will perform OTDR testing, troubleshoot faults, and collaborate with project managers and client teams on site visits.

This role requires 5+ years in fiber telecom, hands-on splicing and fiber inspection, and strong reporting skills using Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fiber telecom experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISP & OSP fiber networks.
• Hands-on OTDR testing and fiber characterization experience.
• Fusion splicing and fiber inspection skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
