Job summary

TDS Telecommunications LLC is looking for a Drop Installation Technician I to join their team in Meridian, Idaho. In this role, you’ll perform general labor associated with fiber optic drop installations, working safely and efficiently. Candidates must maintain a valid driver's license, have the ability to physically perform the job requirements, and may need to obtain a Class A CDL. This position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus, competitive pay, and great benefits including medical, dental, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must follow attendance guidelines to meet business needs.
• Basic understanding of telecommunications products and services.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor related to fiber optic installations.
• Complete all necessary paperwork related to installations.
• Assist field services technicians when required.

Skills

Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmissions

Proven organizational skills

Ability to climb poles/ladders

Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
