Job summary

Lyte Fiber, LLC is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Houston, TX to lead fiber-to-the-premise projects from planning through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, and the project team, coordinating with OSP Engineering, OSP Operations, and city stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in telecom project management, PMP preferred, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office, ERP systems, and GIS tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in telecommunications project management, with emphasis on OSP fiber design/construction.
• Strong knowledge of telecom construction, budgeting, scheduling, finance, and field operations.
• PMP or similar certification desirable.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, communicate effectively, and work with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP applications; familiarity with GIS tooling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review project scope, requirements, and contracts.
• Create and execute work plans and schedules within budget.
• Oversee day-to-day project operations: fiber design, permitting, material delivery, construction, invoicing, and system readiness.
• Provide accurate reporting and forecasting of timelines and resources.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and manage change requests.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation to keep projects on track and budget.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Report project status and forecasts to senior management.
