Job summary

Socket Fiber is seeking a Fiber Construction Project Manager to oversee targeted fiber network projects in the Memphis area. This hands‑on PM role requires guiding projects from design through closeout, managing budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships to ensure safe and on‑budget expansion.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in construction PM or leadership, with strong communication, problem‑solving, and knowledge of PM tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in construction project management or leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects.
• Deep knowledge of construction processes, PM methodologies and best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with tools for PM and construction oversight.
• Committed to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drive construction projects to completion within priorities, scope, schedule and budget.
• Lead projects through design, estimating, procurement, construction and closeout.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships.
• Coordinate with procurement for materials availability.
• Provide regular schedule and status updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks and develop contingency plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Champion safety initiatives and promote injury-free workplace.
• Conduct on-site visits to identify issues and support real-time problem-solving.
