Job summary

Verita Telecommunications (VTC) seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee fiber and underground telecom projects in the South Bend area. You will manage field operations, supervise crews and subcontractors, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership, a proven telecom construction background, and strong communication with clients and senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of telecom or fiber construction project management.
• Experience leading field crews and subcontractors.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fiber and telecom construction from planning to completion.
• Direct field crews, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Monitor budgets and schedules; approve change orders.
• Coordinate with clients and senior management.
• Travel to site locations as needed.
