Job summary

Fiber Network Services, Inc. seeks a Fiber Construction Supervisor to lead Fishersville, VA field operations, directing construction coordinators, crews, and subs to complete aerial and underground fiber builds on schedule and to spec. You’ll review logs, manage safety, and coordinate on‑call restorations while ensuring QA/QC from kickoff to closeout. The role requires strong leadership and fluency with telecom drawings.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in telecom, broadband, or Outside Plant (OSP) fiberoptic construction supervision.
• Experience supervising field personnel such as coordinators, inspectors, or crew leads.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and guidance to a team of construction coordinators; delegate tasks and track performance.
• Oversee daily field operations for aerial and underground fiber construction; enforce QA/QC standards.
• Participate in a rotational on‑call schedule to provide 24/7 restoration capabilities and coordinate rapid field response.
• Read and interpret telecom blueprints, engineering designs, splicing schematics, and CATV construction drawings; track progress with PM systems.
• Maintain OSHA/commercial safety compliance; conduct tailgate meetings and hazard assessments; halt production if hazards detected.
