Job summary

Visionary Communications LLC is seeking a Fiber Construction Coordinator to oversee on-site fiber builds in NE Wyoming and MT areas. You will manage field crews, coordinate with project teams, and ensure safety and quality standards are met across multiple ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage fiber optic construction projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Maintain a strong on-site presence to oversee daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and direct field crews.
• Coordinate pre-determined project plans and schedules with project management and field teams.
• Foster a collaborative work environment; align field crews and subcontractors with project goals.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with safety standards, quality expectations, and regulations.
• Conduct frequent site visits to verify progress and quality control.
• Monitor materials, equipment, and resources on-site to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Serve as primary contact between field operations and stakeholders; address concerns and provide updates.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including logs, progress reports, and photos.
• Ensure invoiced amounts reflect on-site progress and completed work.
• Survey fiber backbone/zone using GPS to document fiber infrastructure locations (underground or aerial).
• Make real-time design adjustments in the field as needed during on-site operations.
• Perform pre- and post-construction walkthroughs with local utilities and contractors.

Job Title: Fiber Construction Coordinator (MT and WY)

Location: Within Northeast Wyoming or Montana service areas

Compensation: $31.94-45.44/hour,

Final salary will be decided within the posted range commensurate with experience.

Visionary Broadband seeks a qualified individual to fill the role of Fiber Construction Coordinator. This full-time position will join the team at Visionary Broadband, one of the top internet service providers in the Rocky Mountain region.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organizational skills and must be detail oriented.
• Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, as well as ability to quickly learn and work within proprietary computer applications.
• Flexibility to work outside of standard 8am-5pm Monday-Friday schedule, this could include occasional weekend work.
