Responsibilities

• Perform skilled splicing for coaxial and/or fiber optic cables according to industry standards and client specifications.
• Test connections using specialized equipment to ensure signal quality and network integrity.
• Interpret diagrams, schematics, and work orders to complete splicing projects accurately.
• Maintain documentation of completed work including splice locations, tests performed, and quality results.
• Identify and resolve issues that affect cable integrity or signal quality.
• Follow safety protocols for underground and aerial work environments.
• Maintain splicing equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Collaborate with construction crews and supervisors to ensure project completion.
• Complete splicing within specified timeframes to support project schedules.
• Stay current with evolving splicing techniques through ongoing training.
