Job summary

Armstrong Utilities is seeking a motivated Broadband Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair fiber‑based voice and data services for residential and commercial customers. You’ll work with cutting‑edge GPON technology in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.

Valid driver’s license required; high school diploma (IT/electronics a plus). You will receive on‑the‑job training, a company vehicle for daily commute, and a comprehensive benefits package from day one, including PTO and 401k.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; IT/electronics background is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to participate in on-call shifts.
• Able to pass BPI certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot voice and data services for residential and commercial customers.
• Repair and maintain fiber‑based GPON systems and equipment.
• Manage vehicle inventory and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Perform physical tasks such as climbing, digging, and drilling as needed.
• Provide timely paperwork and feedback to improve services.
