Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is hiring a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with the installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials across our Ohio operations.

This role offers weekly pay, PTO, parental leave, holidays, 401(k) with company match, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and legal insurance. Must be 18+, authorized to work in the United States, and able to obtain pole-climber certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
