Job summary

You will interact with trading, operations, and customer care teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of securities in a fast-paced setting. The role emphasizes multi-tasking, effective communication, and the ability to learn proprietary systems and pricing tools such as Bloomberg, Excel, and AccountSys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of related experience required.
• Knowledge of financial/business terminology a plus.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg a plus.

Responsibilities

• Multi-task and manage daily trade activity, market conditions, and customer care.
• Communicate with customers, back-office, strategies, and trade desk for expert customer care.
• Support broker needs and streamline processes for up-to-date customer/broker relations.
• Use applications for market evaluation, portfolio accounting, compliance, and prospectuses.
• Learn and implement proprietary systems and pricing tools (Excel, AccountSys, FHN Inventory, IDC/S&P).
• Maintain composure and handle unassigned duties; meet licensing test requirements (SIE, Series 7, 52, 63).

Job description

Perform detailed oriented tasks and provide specialized support for our sales force and customer base. Excellent communication skills are essential. Develop working relationships with trading and operations departments promoting smooth execution and delivery of securities.

• Strong ability to multi-task and manage issues arising daily concerning trade activity, market conditions and customer care. Identify and implement proper protocol for successful execution of trades.


• Effective communication with customers, back-office, strategies department and trade desk personnel to provide expert level care for all customer needs. Practice efficient follow-thru and diligence necessary in trade aftercare.


• Maintain and encourage means in which to simplify and streamline broker needs. Initiate methods of organization to encourage up-to-date customer/broker relations.


• Utilization of computer applications for services such as market evaluation, portfolio accounting, compliance and prospectuses.


• Must have the ability to learn and implement proprietary systems and financial tools including Microsoft Excel, AccountSys, Word, FHN Inventory, and IDC/S&P pricing.


• Ability to accept responsibility of unassigned duties. Maintain perspective and composure in stressful situations.


• Must pass the following tests within a timely manner if licenses are not already held - SIE, Series 7, Series 52 and Series 63

Requirements

• Knowledge of generic loan terms and lending process a plus
