Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Residential Appraisal Review Specialist in Hoover, AL. The role underwrites residential mortgage property appraisals and ensures compliance, accuracy, and quality across all documentation.

You will interact with appraisers, sales, and operations to drive correct filing and timely reviews. Applicants should have FHA/VA experience or DE credentials and strong analytical and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two years appraisal review experience or FHA/VA designation is required.
• Direct Endorsement (DE) Certification preferred.
• Active FHA DE credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and decision incoming appraisals.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance in all documentation.
• Follow up on appraisal revisions with appraiser or Residential Valuation Services.
• Communicate with sales and operations partners.
• File, record, and organize appraisal documentation.
• Review FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA guidelines.
