Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group in Bellevue, WA is seeking a part-time Sonographer to provide diagnostic ultrasound in the Maternal Fetal Medicine setting. You will work with a healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care to pregnant women, including preliminary reports and assisting with procedures.

Responsibilities include fetal surveys, assisting with amniocentesis and CVS, documenting findings, generating reports, and ensuring quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program with a degree in ultrasonography or equivalent, or similar education.
• Maintain ARDMS certification with OB/GYN or FE eligibility within 12 months of hire.
• Evidence of continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation requirements.
• NT experience or certification preferred; CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys including twins and triplets.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS.
• Document exam findings, measurements and images in reporting systems.
• Record patient history and indications; ensure compliance with protocols.
• Generate preliminary reports for physician review and final signature.
• Review studies with physicians to communicate findings and support accuracy.
• Ensure documentation complies with safety standards and accreditation.
• Select exam types and indication codes to support accurate reporting and billing.
• Escort patients, prepare for exams and explain procedures to patients.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment operation and inventory; rotate to other locations as needed.
