Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound imaging in accordance with ACOG guidelines. Under supervision for high-risk cases, you will detect fetal anomalies and assist with Doppler studies.

The role includes reviewing orders, preparing reports, and maintaining patient records. Strong English communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently registered or registry eligible; registry must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Experience with obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound imaging preferred.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHA required.

Responsibilities

• Perform obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound imaging per ACOG guidelines.
• Provide ultrasound guidance for gynecological sonography including Doppler as needed.
• Review orders and prepare requisitions; instruct patients.
• Prepare ultrasound reports and maintain patient medical records.
• Participate in Procedure Verification/Universal Protocol.
