Job summary

Sundance Institute in Boulder, CO is seeking a Festival Manager, Transportation to oversee all transportation operations for the Sundance Film Festival. The role manages four seasonal employees and works with partners across Boulder, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, and New York in a hybrid onsite capacity.

Responsibilities include planning logistics, vendor management, budget oversight, and coordinating with transit providers.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in event transportation and logistics.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain MVR background check and DOT card.
• Ability to drive a 16’ to 24’ box truck with lift gates.
• Leadership experience in training employees.
• Experience managing a budget.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation operations and logistics plans for the Festival.
• Collaborate with city, state, and partners on traffic, parking, and vendor relationships.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and contracts; supervise seasonal staff.
• Coordinate with mobility providers (RTD, Via) and parking vendors.
• Produce wrap reports and notify stakeholders at project end.
