Job summary

Insomniac is seeking a Merchandise Booth Cashier to join the Merchandising team at live events. Responsibilities include ringing up purchases, following management directions, and upholding department standards.

The role emphasizes cash handling, customer service excellence, and accurate inventory practices in a fast-paced festival setting. Travel to events is required; lodging is not provided.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience is required.
• Must have great customer service skills.
• Must be well organized and detail-oriented.
• Basic math and counting skills are required.
• General knowledge of live entertainment and Insomniac brands/shows.

Responsibilities

• Handle merchandise purchase transactions.
• Ensure customer is satisfied with product before completing the transaction.
• Count in all product received.
• Count out all product at the end of the show.
• Help set up merch booth and product displays based on guidance from Insomniac Merch mgmt. team.
• Input the correct products into the cash register or POS, to ensure accurate inventory is kept.
• Provide excellent customer service and relations.
• Help maintain booth cleanliness and organization throughout festival or event.
• Follow all safety and theft prevention procedures.
• Execute day to day tasks as needed.
