Job summary

Central Prairie Co-op is seeking an energetic team member for fertilizer handling and customer service in Hutchinson, KS. You will help load and unload fertilizer, maintain NH3 tanks, and assist with inventory and light maintenance. Emphasis is on safety, accuracy, and courteous service to members and patrons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (GED acceptable) or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Willingness to learn maintenance and basic record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve questions or concerns promptly.
• Inspect and maintain fertilizer equipment and NH3 tanks.
• Load/unload trucks and assist with inventory and paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop and yard; report hazards to supervision.
• Perform additional tasks such as light maintenance and weed control as needed.
